Some really great strategy for team play development:

8 key fixes in doubles playing

  1. Watch your partner as he is hitting his 3rd
  2. When you are getting ready to hit a return simply say “Go” or “Back” so your partner knows where to go.
  3. While your partner is hitting the 3rd shot – Turn your body sideways and shuffle forward and look where your partner hits.
  4. You want to be split stepped after you make your 1st couple of moves.
  5. Stack on your serves works well for Lefty Righty team. Odd # server on the left. Even server serves on Right
  6. Covering the wrong area at the kitchen – Move as a Unit, aggressively cover your sideline, and trust your partner to have the middle.
  7. The better spot to hit your dinks is in the middle
  8. Always point the end or your paddle at the ball.
